1-4 September, 2026 Milan

The Virtual Physiological Human (VPH), also known as “in silico medicine,” is a field focused on using computer simulations based on individual human physiology. These simulations support disease prevention, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and the design of biomedical products. Gunnar Cedersund and a few others from the ISB Group will attend VPH 2026.

This meeting arranged by Sanofi and Novo Nordisk gathers endocrinologists from all over Norway and is a hub of excellent lectures on the topic. Gunnar Cedersund is invited as a speaker to give a presentation on digital twins and their expected future applications in the context of diabetes and obesity.

This two-day event marked an important step in establishing the M4-HEALTH Consortium. During the meeting the overall project and its sub-projects were shaped, and application to be submitted to the Swedish Research Council was finalized.

The meeting is open to all who are interested in the project and its thematic areas.
