SUND (Simulation Using Nonlinear Dynamic models) simulation toolbox

SUND is a python package for object-oriented modelling of ODE:s and DAE:s, inspired by the MATLAB toolbox IQM from IntiQuan. The idea with this Python toolbox is to allow for an object-oriented development of models, which can be seamlessly connected with each other by defining inputs and outputs in the model.

Installation

To install the package, the easiest way is to us the Python package manager pip. Simply install the package hosted on our homepage:

pip install https://isbgroup.eu/sund-toolbox/releases/sund-1.3.0.tar.gz

Old versions

Older versions of the toolbox are also available. To install these use the same command as above:

pip install https://isbgroup.eu/sund-toolbox/releases/sund-<VERSION>.tar.gz

Replace <VERSION> with the appropriate version number found here: List of versions.

To get an introduction to the usage of the package it is easiest to do the Python version of the Systems Biology lab, used in teaching in Gunnar Cedersund's group. There, a walk through of the basic functions of the package is explained.
